Dear reader I just finished reading The Queen’s Assassin book number one in the “Queen’s Secret” series by Melissa De La Cruz. I picked up the book from Amazon in hardcover because the synopsis sounded interesting and I have enjoyed previous books by the same author, my personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally found the main plot line of the book to not have a lot of structure behind it I kept reading because I enjoyed the characters and the “will they won’t they” romantic plot line.

If you want to see more assassin type action it’s not there except for one scene towards the end of the book.
