I am writing this review while I watch the episode on my DVR so that I can pause and add my thoughts as needed.

This review is my personal thoughts of the episode I am not a professional writer or reviewer just a fan doing this for fun. Disclaimer I am biased to the show a bit due to the fact that I am already a fan of the show’s host Alton Brown.

I also want to say that I am sorry that I am behind on the episodes I have them all saved on my DVR so I will be posting them as fast as I am able to.

Chefs for this episode are:

Chef Glick, Chef Davidi(Honest disclosure I didn’t like her on her season of “Next Food Network Star”), Chef Mims(Show’s spelling not mine), and Chef Palmieri.

The show has 3 total rounds of competition.

First round dish is:

Spaghetti and meatballs.

Interesting side note Chef Glick gets stuck in the pantry after the 60 seconds of shopping time(First time I have ever seen it since I have been watching the show) and Alton took the Chef’s bottle of chili sauce as payment for letting him out of the pantry.

First round Auction:

1st item up for auction is:

Tasting spoons, the winner of this item will be the only Chef allowed to taste their food for this round.

Winner bidder of this item is:

Chef Davidi with a winning bid of $3,200.

2nd item up for auction is:

Protein replacement which the winning chef can either use themselves or force one of their opponents to use one of the items as the protein in their dish.

Winning bidder of the item is:

Chef Mims with a winning bid of $5,000. He gives it to Chef Palmieri.

3rd item up for auction is:

An empty basket, The winning of this item can take one item from their opponent’s basket and use it themselves.

Winning bidder is:

Chef Glick with a winning bid of $6,500. He takes the garlic from Chef Davidi. Side note he could have taken away all of her pasta.

During the cooking for this round Chef Davidi blender fell and she lost her sauce as she was bragging about being able to taste her food.

Note to reader this show has only one judge who doesn’t see and can’t know about any sabotage that happens.

Chef Mims is eliminated.

Second round dish is:

Wings(My guess is chicken wings)

1st item up for auction this round is:

Forcing both of your opponents to make stuffed chicken wings.

Winning bidder of this auction is:

Chef Palmieri with a winning bid of $500. Both of the other two chefs didn’t bid on the item.

2nd item up for auction is:

Forcing one of your opponents to use small Cornish hen wings instead of the wings they wanted to use.

Winning bidder of this auction is:

Chef Palmieri for $2,000. He forces Chef Davidi to stuff the wings due to the previous challenge.

3rd item up for auction is:

Forcing one of their opponents to make 2 dishes of wings not just one.

Wining bidder of this auction is:

Chef Glick for $2,500. He makes Chef Palmieri make two dishes of wings.

Suprise auction during the cooking time the winning bidder of this auction forces one of their opponents to use pickles and gingersnaps in their dish.

Winning bidder of this auction is:

Chef Davidi with a winning bid of $1,700. She gives it to Chef Palmieri.

Chef Davidi is the winner of this round and Chef Glick is eliminated.

For this finale round the auctions will take place during the cooking time.

Final round dish is:

Doughnuts

First Item up for auction is:

Replacing all their opponent’s sugar with candy.

Winning bidder for this auction is:

Chef Davidi with a winning bid of $500 because Chef Palmieri didn’t even try to bid.

2nd item up for auction is:

Forcing your opponent to make all of their hand tools out of foil for the rest of the round.

Winner bidder for this auction is:

Chef Palmieri with a winning bid of $ 2,300.

The winning Chef for this episode is Chef Palmieri wins the episode with $20,200 as his prize.
