Book Review: The 48: Donna Hosie

Dear reader I just finished reading “The 48” by Donna Hosie. I picked up the book in hardcover edition from Barnes and Noble when I went my local store with my dad. My personal review of the book is as follows:

In my personal opinion this story reads as if it was the 3rd book in a series instead of a stand alone/possible start to a series. So much is explained as backstory as happening after the fact while the characters are running around the world that we as readers don’t get to see. I wish that mechanics of the world and the backstage in fighting within the “48” organization that we are told about towards the end of book was actually shown.

I personally kept reading to see if anything would matter in terms of the “race against the clock” element of the storyline however it doesn’t seem to me personally like it mattered that much to the storyline overall except for the characters survival. I also don’t personally understand if/how any of the choices that the characters made throughout the book actually changed the future(within the framework of the world of book). Overall I rate this book 2 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊.  Please like and share this review if you enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.

P.S. If you’re interested in possibly having me do a book review of your book please email me at darkrose04@Gmail.com or tweet me on Twitter @BookNerd0486 to let me know.
