Book Review: An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason: Virginia Boecker

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished reading “An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason” by Virginia Boecker.

I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it seemed interesting and I like stories set within the time period of the book. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I don’t normally mention other books(not directly related to the book I’m reviewing) so early on within my reviews however because of how similar(in my personal opinion) the majority of the core story/plot points are(minus the time travel elements of the 48). I want to mention “the 48” by Donna Hosie Click here to see my book review of “The 48” and the fact that I personally believe that “The Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason” does(in my personal opinion) the majority of the main plot points better than “The 48” I can’t really explain more without giving away specific spoilers for both books.

In my personal opinion this book has for the most part compelling and believable characters. My personal biggest problem with this book is(in my personal opinion) the amount of overly convenience things that save the main characters.

Overall I personally rate this book a 6 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader 😊. Please like and share this review if you like it doing so helps me to get future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
