Book Review: Alice: J.M. Sullivan

Dear reader I couldn’t sleep so I finished “Alice” book number one in the “Wonderland Chronicles” series by J. M. Sullivan. I picked up this book in the Nook store on my tablet because it was in the free section of the Nook store and because I enjoy reading “Alice in Wonderland” themed stories. My personal review of the book is as follows:

I personally really enjoyed the story from an “Alice in Wonderland” perspective, I loved how much the author(in my personal opinion) incorporated all of the major Alice themes and characters whilst still keeping me interested in story by throwing in his own twists.

From the perspective of a zombie/post-apocalyptic set story it felt(lack of a better way of phrasing it) “paint by number” in the way(in my personal opinion) it seemed to hit the basic setup and overall storyline arc of other books within the same genre.

If you’re an Alice in Wonderland fan I recommend checking it out. Overall because of how much I liked the Alice in Wonderland aspects I’m rating this book a 7 out of 10. Happy reading dear reader ☺. Please like and share this review if enjoyed it doing so helps me to get approved by publishers and authors for future books and helps others to find my reviews 💜.
