Book Review|Notes From The Burning Age|Claire North

Dear Reader I just finished reading “Notes From The Burning Age” by Claire North.

I picked up this book from the Nook on my tablet because the synopsis sounded interesting and it was on sale. My personal review of the book is as follows:

The(for lack of a better way of phrasing it) vibe of this book reminds me personally a lot of “The Wise Man’s Fear” by Patrick Rothfuss; in so far as the similar way that the main character tells his story and to a certain extent the way the story is plotted out.

I felt for Vern and the overall storyline kept me reading. I personally found the reveal at the end to be pretty anticlimactic. Overall I personally rate it an 8 out of 10. Happy reading 😁.

Tell me what you think.
