Dear Reader I just finished reading “Kingdom Of The Wicked” book #1 in the “Kingdom Of The Wicked” trilogy by Kerri Maniscalco.

I picked up this book from the Nook store on my tablet because I’d heard a lot about it and wanted to see what it was like for myself:

My personal review of the book is as follows:

I felt pulled into the setting right away; I am Italian American so I related to the Nona a lot as my own grandma(Nana) was very much the same in terms of protectiveness over her family.

I related to Emilia’s grieving for her sister as I have lost my brother.

I guessed the twist pretty much from the start however I still found the book enjoyable and I plan on continuing the series.
