Venting: Wheelchair issues update(2/10/20)

Note to reader: The following post is ONLY about me getting my personal feelings/emotions about this situation. I am NOT trying to make anyone feel sorry for me and the ONLY disabled person who I will EVER speak for is myself.

Dear reader I want to give you guys a mini update on my wheelchair fixing issues. Click here if you want the background to this post.

There was a change in plans for how I originally thought the process of fixing my wheelchair would work; Here’s the plan as I know it as of right now as I am currently writing this post:

The repair person came to my house and picked up my chair to run diagnostic tests on it at repair place and tomorrow morning(Tuesday) once they find out what’s wrong they will tell my contact person at the company I’m working with to fix it.

At which point the contact person will give me the cost of parts & labor and after I pay the main company(the main company will pay the repair place) they will keep my chair at the repair place until the parts come in(if necessary) and once they come in and they fix it they will return the chair to me.

This way I will only have to pay for them to pick up my chair once(which is part of the $225 I paid already, the other parts of it are the cost of them running the diagnostic tests, the repair person’s time).

The contact person said my chair will more than likely be in the repair place until Thursday.

Dear reader please pray and send any positive energy my way that it’s a easy not too expensive repair as I am paying for it myself with my dad out of pocket because I am between insurance at the moment.

I promise to keep you updated on everything as soon as I know anything new. As always your support for me and my journey means everything to me.
