Venting: Wheelchair repair update(2/12/20)

Note to Reader: The following post is ONLY about me getting out my personal thoughts/feelings about this situation. I am NOT trying to make anyone feel sorry for me. As always the ONLY disabled person who I am speaking for is myself. If you want the background to this situation Click here

Dear reader I got a call from the contact person with the repair place that I am using/paying to fix my wheelchair earlier this morning saying that the technicians at the repair shop have run diagnostic tests on my chair and they couldn’t say for sure what’s causing the issue so today they are going to take it to a bigger repair shop with specialized technicians/equipment and they are calling the technicians at the company that makes my chair to get their opinion on the problem.

This process is paid for in the $225 I have already paid for according to my contact person with the company I am working with to fix it.

At the point that they find out cost of parts and labor the contact person will let me know and after I pay them the process of fixing it will get started.

He said if I chose not to fix it(because of money issues) the $225 I already paid would cover getting my chair back to me and I don’t have to worry about paying for the time it’s in the shop for the tests.

The contact person said I should know more about what’s going on by tomorrow morning or Friday morning at the latest.

Please keep your thoughts and prayers that it’s an easy fix like a sensor or something dear reader. I will keep you updated on everything as soon as I know anything new about it. As always the support of me and my journey that you guys give to me means the world to me dear reader 💜.
