Life: My wheelchair is back(2/26/20)

Note to Reader: The following post is only about me getting out my personal thoughts and feelings about the situation out of my system as always I am ONLY talking about me/ my situation never any other disabled person. I am NOT trying to make anyone feel sorry for.

Dear reader I just got my wheelchair back. So far it seems to be working fine. I sat up in it for a bit to vote by mail. I am back in bed now because my energy is a bit lower than normal(I’ll be ok soon).

I got the number of the guy who fixed it at the repair place(I went through a bigger company that referred it to them) and he said that he would work with me directly(obviously I would have to pay him for time and parts) if things go wrong again which makes me and my dad feel better to have some one locally who can hopefully help me with it if something happens.

As a weird kind of side note I kinda feel bad because I looked up the main repair company on Google(I didn’t notice it before when I was in a hurry to find a place to fix it, most places just wanted me to get a new one because of how old it is) and a lot of people had bad experiences with getting charged way more than the 460 I paid total to fix it. I am genuinely so thankful that I have it back.

Your prayers and support for me and my journey throughout this last about 3 weeks of it being gone have kept me going. I am beyond thankful for you dear reader and I can’t wait to see what happens next in my journey.
